Welcome to Woden Lunchtime Toastmasters Club

Man’s greatest fear is the fear of death.

But what is Man’s second greatest fear? It is the fear of public speaking.  How many people would rather die than stand up to deliver a presentation at work or give a speech at a wedding?

Confidence in communication is something so many people would like to possess but think it is a gift one either has from birth or does not have.

The mission of Woden Lunchtime Toastmasters Club is to “provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which each member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth”.

Toastmasters can help people achieve that elusive confidence through its communication & leadership programmes.

The club was chartered in 1988. Since then, the club has attracted membership from people in a variety of businesses & organisations in the Woden area.

The Woden Lunchtime Toastmasters Club meets:

every Wednesday
12:30-13:30
Balcony Room of the Woden Library

Visitors are welcome to attend all club meetings.  You can let us know in advance or just turn up on the day.
